On August 3, 2018, AMT celebrated 20 years of success and partnership with customers, suppliers, stakeholders, and staff at AMT corporate headquarters in Keelung, Taiwan.  Valued partners worldwide flew into Taiwan to attend this event which showcased our shared success, AMT excellence, and AMT’s roadmap into the future.

AMT’s 20^th Anniversary Celebration was a merry mixture of information and entertainment.  Festivities began with a party welcoming our overseas customers from Germany, US, Italy, Israel, Poland, the UK, S. Korea, Singapore and China.  This was a great way for old partners and new to enjoy local hospitality and created happy memories while seated high above panoramic Keelung Harbor.

On Aug. 3, AMT President Lillian Chao, AMT management, and SCHURTER presented AMT’s mission, vision, current technology, future innovation, and successful projects at the 20^th Anniversary Workshop.  Presenters spoke to the assembled attendees about our core objectives, powerful new touch products, and the value we create with our customers as we move towards the future.

Our guests were especially impressed with the product demonstrations that wrapped up the workshop.  We presented our products from the users’ perspective.  For example, why virtual keys are used on a projected capacitive (PCAP or PCI) touch panel? What features are requested for medical applications?  How can PhotoReal décor glass bring value to customers?  How can we apply our products when used outdoors?  All these features not only rely on the touch sensor, the controller also plays an important role and this combination illustrates the power of AMT’s complete PCAP total touch solution.

In the afternoon, AMT’s 20^th Anniversary Ceremony took place at AMT’s Keelung Headquarters.  We invited numerous suppliers and VIPs to join us.  We thanked all the vendors and customers for the support they have given us and presented long-term partnership awards to three customers and five suppliers.

The day’s events were capped off with a ceremonial dinner.  Longtime recipient of AMT community outreach Taiwu Junior High School’s Samba Drum players performed an exciting drum program and traditional indigenous songs.  AMT’s German partners presented us representations of their companies’ hometowns because we are like family.  All our suppliers then went onstage to sing a rousing rendition of the song “friend.”

AMT would like to thank everyone who joined us for AMT’s 20^th Anniversary Celebration.  AMT appreciates the reaffirmation of our friendship symbolized by your presence. We have set new goals to create new success and move towards excellence together. We hope we will see you again at our next milestone!
