On Windows OS, PenMount PCIUtility is available to customers to set PenMount PCAP controller functions such as firmware update, parameter adjustment, environmental calibration, etc.  If customer applications need to be used on different platforms, we can provide “PenMount P2 SDK” which includes libraries for different platforms.  Customers can use these libraries to quickly integrate PCIUtility functionality into applications across their various platforms.  Using these libraries can reduce application development time and quickly implement applications across different platforms.

PenMount SDK can support Windows/Windows CE/Linux and other platforms.  When developing software for different platforms, customers can write programs e to add important existing PCIUtility functions directly into applications on different platforms.  PenMount developed SDK is highly stable and can greatly increase customer efficiency and product reliability.

For example, one of PenMount’s customers uses Windows OS on the production line but end products are loaded with Linux.  They used PenMount SDK to integrate firmware update and touch panel testing functions into their production software.  Thus, operators do not need to open PCIUtility to perform firmware update or touch panel testing, allowing for uninterrupted production and promoting automation.  In addition, the same Calling Sequence & Parameters can be integrated into Linux applications to allow end users to perform firmware update, parameter adjustment, environmental calibration, etc. on end products.

In addition to the aforementioned vertical production line and system integration, if customers systems use different platforms, PenMount cross-platform SDK can also horizontally integrate various systems.  Different coding is not required for different platforms, leading to significant convenience and stability benefits for customers.
