AMT wishes you a healthy and prosperous Year of the Rodent 2020!  The continuing spread of the Wuhan novel coronavirus has made this a trying time for the global community and the Chinese economy.  AMT hopes you and your family remain healthy and take the appropriate precautions in response to these unfortunate circumstances. Helping to curb the spread of this pandemic while maintaining normal operations has become a priority.  AMT is dedicated to the wellbeing of our staff, our customers, and our customers’ businesses.  Currently, we are maintaining the following policies:

Employee Health

Currently company policy mandates that all employees and visitors must have his or her body temperature measured before entering company property and all employees and visitors must wear surgical masks while on company property.  We are lucky that all of our employees are very healthy thus far.  In addition, all employees (less than 20) who have traveled abroad during the Lunar New Year period are temporarily segregated during lunch hour. Besides checking temperature, we are also paying more attention to employee family members. AMT has a company nurse and maintains an onsite nurse’s office, emergency aid station, and consulting physician to provide health services and advice.

Material Inventory Safety

Due to the accelerating spread of the virus, a number of cities in China have been locked down and manufacturing has been suspended.  A very small amount of materials and consumables used to manufacture AMT products are procured from China.  We are prepared and AMT material management is very stable based on our plan and forecast.  Our production line is running normally and manufacturing is ongoing. During this period, we are able to successfully supply customers the products they require.

Availability of Products and Services

Currently, most countries are limiting entry of travelers from China and major airlines have suspended service to part of or the entire Chinese mainland. AMT’s only production line for touch sensors and controllers is in Taiwan.  Thus, these bans do not affect AMT products and customer orders can be delivered normally.  Every customer is important to us.  Our company is operating normally and the AMT team continues to provide customers with service and maintain business as usual.
