2020 is coming to an end, yet the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread around the world. Because of this, our lives have been changed drastically. In order to prevent the spread, many people need to work from home, and as a result some livelihoods are affected. We care about our partners, customers, friends, employees and people of the world. We hope everyone can get through this difficult time safely. AMT thanks you for your continued support in 2020, and would like to share with you our fruitful results this year.

The Touchscreen Display Solution (TDS) is one of our main promotions this year. This is a complete touch module that includes: AMT resistive or projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panel, PenMount touch controller, industrial-grade LCD panel, firmware and software. Customers can choose double-sided adhesive bonding (Tape Bond) or OCA bonding (Optical Bond) between the LCD panel and the touch panel. TDS makes our services better-rounded, allowing us to provide customers with better products and services.

Our optical bonding service uses Lucent Gel as the bonding material. The base material of Lucent Gel SOCA is silicone, which can reach a light transmittance rate of 94%. Lucent Gel has uniform thickness, is transparent and colourless, and has excellent weather resistance. It can avoid cracking, blistering, yellowing caused by ultraviolet radiation, and pass the ASTM G154 1,500-hour UV resistance test. Lucent Gel is also shock-absorption and can reduce the force of external impact on the product. Currently, Lucent Gel is available in thicknesses from 0.3mm to 1.3mm and optical bonding dimensions from 1” to 27”.

AMT Open Frame touch monitor is our newest product line. We will do the mechanical design according to the needs of customers, and combine AMT’s touch panel with customers’ desired specs of LCD panel. AMT can provide not only customized touch panel and touch controller technology to meet customer’s wide range of applications, but we can also customize other components of the Open Frame touch display, such as: LCD video signal input, mechanical parts, frame size, etc., allowing you to save time and effort during project development, installation, testing and operation.

Because of the pandemic, AMT launched the GermBlok nano silver antibacterial film. Attaching the GermBlok film can improve the antibacterial function of the touch panel surface. Our internal test used E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus according to the JIS Z 2801 method, and the test result showed an antibacterial value reaching R> 2 (99%). At present, GermBlok antibacterial film can be made up to 32”, and also into different sizes according to customers’ LCD needs.
