AMT is fortunate that its family has continued to grow through partners, suppliers, distributors, and subsidiaries.  Through every part of the AMT family, we hope to promote corporate social responsibility both internally and across local communities.  We not only focus on researching, developing, designing, and manufacturing the most reliable, durable, and comprehensive touch solutions on the market, we also utilize production processes that protect the environment, reduce pollution, and conserve energy to care for our environment through our actions.

AMT has pledged to create a cleaner and greener society that future generations can enjoy.  As part of our continuing effort to reduce waste products, we have set goals to recycle packaging and use less plastic and rubber materials.  From last year until now, AMT has recycled over 600 kg of packaging materials and reduced the amount of latex gloves purchased by 75%.  We constantly review production processes and reduce unnecessary waste to contribute to environmental protection.

Our company provides assistance to a number of social service organizations, the physically and mentally challenged, and disadvantaged groups on an annual basis.  Every year, we regularly donate rice to the indigenous peoples associations in Pingtung County and provide food for disadvantaged children and the elderly, so that they can have three full meals every day.  In addition, we continue to support physical education programs of remote schools and assist disadvantaged children to give them the care and assistance they need.  Last year, we supported the physical education programs of 4 schools, donated to a total of 75 schools and 15 charitable organizations, and assisted disadvantaged students with tuition and provided emergency funding to more than 800 recipients.  We hope that through these actions, we can fill society with love and warmth.

Beyond Taiwan, AMT’s North American subsidiary, AMTouch USA, provided a charitable donation to the Urban Ecology Center (UEC) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The UEC has three locations in the Milwaukee area where they provide programs on environmental education, land stewardship, outdoor equipment rentals, and community science.  AMTouch USA will help fund the UEC’s flagship program, The Neighborhood Environmental Education Project (NEEP). In this nationally recognized program, schools partner with the Urban Ecology Center for an entire year, transforming the experience from just another field trip to a permanent outdoor classroom, reinforcing science concepts taught in class with hands-on outdoor activities during multiple visits. We are convinced that through this meaningful activity, we can teach our next generation to love this land and the earth’s ecology.
