In 2017, AMT launched a number of new features built to further enhance the powerful performance offered by AMT projected capacitive (PCAP or PCI) touch solutions and to give customers accurate touch performance in any environment. Our unique Enhanced Driving technology stabilizes touch operation and sensitivity in noisy environments while also allowing operation with thick cover lenses.  The addition of CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) codes on our product labels are a useful inspection and shipping reference and allows customers to quickly check product firmware parameter settings.  We introduced a software encryption feature into our PCI control boards and COF tails to provide secure data communication between touch panel and system.  Customers can also build a System Reference (SR) in PenMount PCIUtility to improve operation within wider ranges of operating temperature and humidity fluctuation, increasing PCI touch operation stability.  AMT imagines ourselves in our customer’s shoes with our commitment to supplying comprehensive and safe touch functionality.

AMT’s ongoing work to infuse every day with the spirit of Christmas manifests in our care for society’s disadvantaged groups.  This year, we helped a total of 85 elementary schools meet the needs of 610 students.  One such school is the Pingtung County Wu Tang Elementary School.  AMT provides this remote elementary school’s tug of war team with supplemental nutrition.  Established in 2014, the Wu Tang Elementary School tug of war team of disadvantaged youth surmounted a severe lack of resources and students to win a coed national championship this year.  All of us at AMT are very impressed with their achievements!

As a perennial hallmark of AMT’s holiday season, on December 13^th, the Taiwan Mennonite New Dawn Educare Center’s Handchime Troupe and African Drum Group, once again, performed for AMT staff and management. The Taiwan Mennonite New Dawn Educare Center cares for over 100 of the physically and mentally disabled.  The physically and mentally challenged performers began with a handchime accompaniment of the indigenous people’s song “Coming Home,” followed by African drums, a hip hop dance, and a Christmas dance to “Jingle Bells,” and closed with a sign language rendition of “The Most Precious Corner.”  Their performances touched our hearts.  This time of year we often find ourselves reflecting and giving thanks for all the gifts this year has given us and the things that are truly the most important in life.  It is our sincerest wish to share the gifts and success of the New Year with you.  From the AMT family to your family, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and see you in the New Year!
