Once again, the Computex and SID Display Week trade exhibitions are around the corner. In the past year, AMT made a number of breakthroughs in Projected Capacitive Input (PCI) design that have allowed us to create products with increased reliability and a wealth of new features. Not only are larger panel sizes available, these new touchscreens have also passed stringent EMC and medical testing standards. Since this time last year, PenMount has gradually released a series of next generation PCI control boards featuring enhanced water handling and noise immunity capabilities. The PenMount PM1710, PM1410, and PM1310 control boards and new COF tails offer a new level of power and stability paired with a full range of touch panel sizes. PenMount’s PCI controller design concepts provide distributors with a unified solution and firmware parameter settings can be fine-tuned or adjusted for signal sensitivity locally in customers’ system environments. We do not recommend distributors send their sample units back to us for final adjustment. This action is better performed onsite to save customer time and money.

Computex Taipei is the largest ICT trade show in Asia and the second largest in the world, attracting over 130,000 visitors. This year, AMT will be in Booth K0828 located on the ground floor of the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall from June 2^nd – 6^th. PCI and resistive products that will be showcased include a 24″ metal mesh PCI touch panel featuring gloved touch capabilities, a 21.5″ PCI panel featuring 5mm thick glass, a 10.1″ PCI panel demonstrating EMC characteristics, and a 10.4″ PCI panel demonstrating advanced water handling. Many of the aforementioned functions such as operating the touchscreen accurately while wearing various types of gloves and thick cover glass will be demonstrated for the first time on large-sized panels. Visitors will be able to experience firsthand the superior performance of AMT touch products. We will also display samples of our customers’ real-world applications at the show. SID Display Week 2015 will be held at the San Jose Convention Center. At Display Week exhibitors involved in all areas of display technology gather to discuss the latest news, trends, and technology in the industry. This year, AMTouch USA will be in Booth 1318 from June 2^nd – 4^th. We will introduce various demo units to our U.S. visitors.
