Even with the vaccines coming out late last year, the pandemic got a new boost with the discovery of a new mutated strain. AMT wish all our partners and friends safety and health.

In Taiwan, the government has done a fairly good job controlling the spread of COVID-19. What’s the secret? If you ask around the people of Taiwan, people will tell you that they have a mentality that is more accepting to mask mandate, social distancing, and constant hand washing from our past experience with SARS. In this edition of AMT news, we like to tell you one product that can help our customers achieve a healthier lifestyle: GermBlok, the anti-bacterial film.

AMT’s GermBlok is a nano-silver antibacterial film that can be applied directly to various surfaces – such as tables, switches, or touch screens. Using E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus, GermBlok film has been tested using JIS Z 2801 method with a resulting anti-bacterial value of R> 2 (99%). As of right now, GermBlok film is available in sizes up to 32” and can be cut to any size for projected capacitive (PCAP) or resistive touch screens. There is also no MOQ requirement when purchasing our GermBlok products. Our objective is for the world to be a healthier place when it comes to using touch screen during a pandemic.

Before Delivery, AMT can laminate GermBlok onto customer’s product in order to maximize health benefits by ensuring the largest number of users can take advantage of GermBlok film. After delivery, customers can readily replace GermBlok if needed. The antibacterial properties will remain effective as long as the nano-silver remains on the GermBlok film surface.
