The PenMount website provides drivers for various operating systems. PenMount Windows Universal Driver can support almost all series of Windows operating systems, including the latest Microsoft Windows 10 and older OS such as Windows 2000, XP, and Windows Embedded Standard 2009/7.

PenMount Projected Capacitive (PCAP) touch controller parameter adjustment tool, the renowned PCIUtility, is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows XP. Regardless of the operating system, customers can easily adjust the parameters and perform tests on the original machine, which significantly enhances our customers’ efficiency in the industrial field.

Support Real-Time Operating System

For projects of real-time operating systems, PenMount can provide diversified support paradigms. Recently we there are many customer projects that use open-source operating systems (such as FreeRTOS). Due to the high customization of such operating systems, PenMount can provide sample driver source code and development documents for customers to modify.

For other commercially licensed real-time operating systems, such as MQX, QNX, and VxWorks, PenMount can facilitate the project design or provides complete protocol documents for customers to develop their software. Currently, many customers still utilize the old version of Windows Embedded Compact 7, Windows CE 5/6. If you need to update the driver, you can download our driver package for Platform Builder or update the system with CAB installation files.
