Happy New Year 2020 from AMT!  Thank you for joining us in inaugurating the New Year with 2020’s first edition of AMT News.  Every New Year brings new products to AMT’s line of total touch solutions and this year AMT is launching several Touch Display Solutions (TDS) to meet the diversifying needs of customer products.

You might ask, “why is AMT releasing TDS?”  In the past, a number of customers have asked us if we can help procure specific brand LCD panels or customers will indicate LCD panel specifications, hoping we will assist in purchasing and laminating LCD and touch panels for delivery as an one part no. solution.  Lamination method is either tape bonding or optical bonding according to product requirements.  We have already started assisting customers with many of these types of projects.  In order to provide customers with better products and services and simplify customer supply chains, we are actively promoting TDS products this year.

AMT’s TDS is a complete module consisting of touch panel, touch controller, industrial grade LCD panel, controller firmware, and software.  In addition, customers can request the following services:

• AMT sourced or customer consigned LCD panel
• AMT tape bonding or optical bonding of touch panel and LCD panel

We complete the lamination of the touch components and LCD panel at the same time and perform comprehensive quality control to ensure product reliability and durability.

In addition to working with renowned LCD brands, we have also released TDS designed for standard specifications suitable for most customers.  The first standard models available are the AP070 (7″) and AP101 (10.1″) TDS products.  These products utilize AMT PCAP touch panels and PenMount PCAP touch control boards and customers can choose tape bonding or optical bonding.  AMT TDS’s LCD panels are high brightness LCDs (500 nits) with 1024 X 600 resolution, LVDS interface, and wide viewing angle.  We guarantee a long-term 5 year supply, conforming to general industrial specifications.  Customers choosing AMT TDS have access to AMT’s superb technical support and customer service.  AMT TDS enjoys a full AMT warranty.
